A vigil held for Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager gunned down by Ferguson, Mo., police on Saturday in disputed circumstances, turned into what the media described as a riot on Monday evening.
But while national coverage has focused on the indisputably counterproductive violence and destruction committed by Ferguson residents during a moment of anguish, videos and photos taken from the scene show local police aggravating the situation as well.
I can’t with this country anymore. This is what peaceful demonstration gets my people. It’s like looking back in a history book. We came how far again?

Trying to be cheered by all the hard work and citizen journalism happening. The cleanups, people helping each other, that. Ferguson, North StL, you’re resilient and beautiful.
This is what the people of Ferguson are up against and if you still don’t think that this is a big deal then you need to wake the fuck up

"We all bleed red but whos blood is in the streets?"
to think that this started because the boys were accused of possibly stealing candy and that is apparently worthy of having a gun pulled on them let alone being murdered for it
but yet when we have a bunch of white privileged teens who stole hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of goods from celebrities after breaking into their homes, they get glamorized in the media for it, get a fucking reality show for it, and a damn movie like what the fuck is going on
